We care as much about your breastfeeding journey as you do and are here for you in all the ups and downs. We offer holistic, evidence based yet simple breastfeeding support wherever you are at in your journey- pregnant, new mama or a seasoned breastfeeder. All appointments are conducted by Kate Visser, who has spent over a decade working with families as a registered midwife, nurse and IBCLC. Kate understands the difficulties modern mama’s face and has a well recognised reputation for being empathic, supportive, realistic, and grounding. Her goal is for you to sit back, decades down the track, and reflect on your breastfeeding journey with pride and peace, not guilt and shame. Her promise is to meet you where you are at, and to provide professional breastfeeding support that meets your individual goals.
Kate is passionate about accessible care for all families. in 2024, short bulk billed, telehealth consultations will be available for all eligible Medicare card holders. There are a great no-frills option for families who need quality care. To book this option, please select from the bulk billed appointment list below.

Do I need a lactation consultant?
There are a variety of reasons that you or your baby may need the assistance of a lactation consultant. For simple, common issues, you may be able to follow general advice from other health professionals or support groups, however for an in-depth assessment and tailor made plan for issues that aren’t easily resolved, then a lactation consultation is recommended.
