I’m often asked if I became a midwife and lactation consultant because I love working with babies. While this is true, I’m really in it for the mothers. I am passionate about supporting women to have the best experience possible as they transform into a mother, whether it be for the first or fifth time. I want every woman to have the knowledge and skills she needs to have a journey that she is proud of and can reflect on positively. I provide holistic lactation support that can set the tone for other areas of your postpartum life. This is because not only am I here to investigate breastfeeding issues and problem solve with you, I am also here to foster the relationship you have with your baby through attachment and natural mothering concepts. As well as looking at the broader postpartum picture and support systems we can utilise to ensure you and your baby can thrive together as a team.
As a mother of three, I can empathise and appreciate how valuable holistic, evidence based and gentle support is. Breastfeeding is natural, but natural doesn’t always mean easy. The aim of Milky Business is to equip you with breastfeeding knowledge, help you create, then meet your breastfeeding goals and supporting you to have the breastfeeding experience you dream of.

Milky Business was created in 2019 to make breastfeeding support accessible and relevant for women and their families. Unfortunately, many mothers are unable to meet their breastfeeding goals, something that can have a lasting physical and emotional impact.
Milky Business is passionate about educating parents and empowering them in their decision making during their breastfeeding journey. We want to provide simple, evidence based support that meets your needs, is uncomplicated, and helps you the achieve your goals. This care extends beyond breastfeeding and into pregnancy and postpartum care, regardless of your choices.
We value continuity of care and recommend making contact during your pregnancy. However we support mothers and babies at all stages of their feeding journey, so if you’ve only just discovered Milky Business now, it’s not too late.
